La edad de creer en esas cosas (The time to believe in those things) is a study about love and how the young generations establish their romantic relationships. It follows the construction of a woman’s identity in her new apartment, after a breakup: The story of Isabel, who creates a scenic game between fictional and documentary material. Domestic actions and interactive dynamics with the audience guide the spectator through the character’s intimate world.
The project was originally designed to take place in domestic spaces, houses and apartments, inserting the story of the character in the history of each space. The present of the scene in tension with the memory of the house. Now, the play is also being performed in theatres and galleries, always modifying its format and content in function of the history and possibilities of every place.
